About Nate Panza
Nate Panza is a finance and accounting student at Baylor University. Nate is also an aspiring entrepreneur and avid traveler. In truth, many passions lie within Nate’s heart. Currently, Nate spends most of his time outside classes working and finding different apprenticeship opportunities to further his education.
As a student and young professional, Nate Panza is a busy person. He’s working toward his Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance and accounting. Nate has maintained a perfect GPA in his coursework, been on the Dean’s List, and became an Interfraternity Council New Member of the Year. It’s safe to say that Nate is taking his education seriously.
Outside of school, Nate Panza continues to find his days quite busy. Nate was lucky to be chosen for his apprenticeship (out of 10,000+ applicants) at the Goldman Sachs 2023 Insight Series. It was a summer apprenticeship, which enabled him to learn to his full potential without risking time away from the classroom. Before this, Nate was an intern for Yorkville Advisors, where he helped evaluate various capital structures and financial statements for portfolio companies.
Nate Panza was born to be an entrepreneur. While he may still be obtaining his education, he has already experienced what it is like to own and run a business. In June 2020, Nate became the Co-Owner of Surfing’s Cool, a seasonal surfing lesson company. Nate continued working as owner and instructor for two years before moving to pursue other dreams and goals.
One of Nate Panza’s earliest roles helped to showcase his love of water as he became a lifeguard for Beach Haven Beach Patrol. This position is no joke, as one must be ready to provide emergency and lifesaving care at any moment. It was also an opportunity for Nate to become CPR-certified and broaden his education.
Nate Panza loves dedicating his free time to his community. Interestingly, his love of surfing helped him find this connection, as it got him involved in local youth organizations. Nate loves to share his enthusiasm for the oceans by teaching surfing lessons to the next generation. There is something so powerful in seeing young people succeed, whether by developing their skills in the water or pursuing their entrepreneurial passions. In addition to teaching surfing lessons, Nate makes time for community initiatives like beach cleanups and other youth enrichment programs.
One of Nate Panza’s volunteer roles helps to combine his passion for leadership and entrepreneurship with his love for giving back to the community. In 2020, Nate signed on to join The Soul Focused Group. This organization combated systematic racism by training future leaders in understanding and prevention methods. It’s moments like this where Nate’s dedication shines through.
In November 2022, Nate Panza made headlines as he and several other ATO members joined to support breast cancer. Together, ATO (Alpha Tau Omega) fundraised over nineteen thousand dollars for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. How, you may ask? They opted to shave their heads in solidarity, which helped to bring in funds. The phrase “Cuts 4 Cancer” was certainly trending that week!
